Ottawa, Jumada II 16, 1437, Mar 25, 2016, SPA -- Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairy, Saudi ambassador to Canada, and the GCC ambassadors to Canada organized here yesterday at the headquarters of the Saudi embassy in Canada an event to thank efforts exerted by the Canadian government in the file of the Syrian refugees. The ambassadors provided a sum of money to Mayor of Ottawa Jim Watson as GCC contribution for helping the Syrian refugees in Canada. The attendees highlighted the GCC humanitarian efforts for supporting the Syrian refugees in the region. For his part, Canadian Foreign Minister Stephane Dion thanked the Saudi embassy for hosting this event.
