Amman, 09 Ramadan,1437 AH, 14 June,2016 , SPA -- Saudi National Campaign to support brothers in Syria has distributed food parcels to 1461 families of Syrian refugees within sixteen and seventeen stations of its Ramadan program in the governorates of Mafraq and Balqa, Jordan. The campaign worked during these two stations to provide the Syrian refugees in Mafraq Governorate with 868 food parcels and in the Balqa governorate with 709 food parcels, each contains a variety of food aid with a total weight of 48 kilograms almost enough for a family for nearly a month. The Regional Director of the Saudi National Campaign Dr. Badr bin Abdulrahman Al-Samhan stressed that the Saudi Campaign has prepared previously a comprehensive plan to distribute food parcels to Syrian Refugees in all regions of Jordan taking into account many aspects in selecting the most deserving families and the inclusion of people with special needs of widows, women, families of the martyrs, the injured, the elderly and children targeting the largest segment of Syrian refugees during the holy month of Ramadan.
