Arab Interior Ministers Council Reiterates Determination to Achieve Security, Stability 2 Tunis

Arab Interior Ministers Council issued Tunis Declaration to combat terrorism, which included the renewal of condemnation of terrorism whatever its forms or its sources, and the condemnation of all acts of terrorism against ethnic or sectarian minorities and those committed by extremist groups and sectarian militias. The Council expressed its strong condemnation of the terrorism practiced by Israel in the occupied Palestinian territories, and support the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and establish their independent state on their national soil with Al-Quds as its capital. The Council also expressed its absolute condemnation of the storming of the Saudi Embassy and its consulate in Iran and strong condemnation of the harassment suffered by Saudi diplomats and their families. The Council also expressed extreme of the terrorist act of kidnapping of Qatari citizens in the Republic of Iraq, and appeal to the Iraqi authorities to make every effort in order to release them and ensure their safety. Council expressed its denunciation and severe condemnation of Iran's activities aimed at destabilizing the security and stability in Bahrain and several Arab states, and undermine peaceful coexistence between Arab societies components by inciting sectarian strife. The Council expressed its condemnation and denunciation of the practices and dangerous work carried out by the terrorist group Hezbollah to destabilize security and social peace in some Arab countries. Council declared its full support for the actions taken by all Member States to fight al-Qaida and regulatory Daash terrorists, as well as its full support of the Arab coalition and appreciation for the efforts in order to support the legitimacy of the Republic of Yemen, and the face of al-Qaeda and terrorist militias Daesh and Houthis.
