Responding to reporters' questions, Al-Jubeir praised the results of the Syrian opposition conference held in Riyadh and described the final statement of the conference as historic, saying it was able to unify views and attitudes. For his part, the Turkish foreign minister valued the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in hosting the Syrian opposition meeting to find a political solution that ensures the unity of the Syrian lands, and the kingdom's keenness on achieving security, stability and justice in Syria. The two ministers agreed on the approach to find a peaceful solution to the Syrian crisis as the best option for the future of Syria, resorting to the negotiating table to meet at one point and determination to move forward towards reaching an agreement and reconciliation with Bashar al-Assad not part of it and which ensures the return of life to the streets of Syria through moderate consensus government, which can run the affairs of Syria for the better, and working towards providing an ideal climate for a fair election where all Syrians participate. The Turkish foreign minister stressed his country's support for operations carried out by the Arab Coalition to support the legitimacy of Yemen and expressed his country's confidence in these operations achieving the noble and desired objectives, the return of stability to Yemen. He said, "Turkey expressed its willingness to participate in this alliance, and it's still standing by its position, which agrees with the vision and the position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Yemen and all the issues faced by the region.
