The UN Security Council unanimously adopts a resolution on a ceasefire in Syria 2 New York

The Security Council demands that all parties immediately stop any attack against civilians or civil targets, including medical facilities or personnel working in the medical fields, or any arbitral use of weapons, including air shelling, and welcomes the commitment of the International Team for the Support of Syria to mount pressure on all parties in this concern. And demands that all parties comply with their commitments according to international law, including the international humanitarian law and the international human rights law, according to need. The resolution confirms the dire need to pave the way for safe and self-decided return of refugees and the domestic displaced to their homes and the rehabilitation of the war-destructed areas according to the international law, taking into consideration the interests of refugee-host countries and it is looking forward to London Conference on Syria which will be held in February 2016 and hosed by the United Kingdom, Germany, Kuwait and Norway.
