Beirut, Jumada I 12, 1437, Feb 21, 2016, SPA -- Lebanese Justice Minister Ashraf Rifi has officially announced his resignation from the government because of Hezbollah's domination of the authorities of the State, creating a crisis with its allies with the Arab brothers of Lebanon, particularly the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, calling on the government to resign before turning into a complete tool in the hands of Hezbollah. Rifi issued an official statement in which he said: "Our homeland Lebanon is going through one of its most difficult stages in modern history due to a national crisis caused by the status quo forces which almost control the State and its institutions and these forces' behavior has led to rush the State to a stage of disintegration and vacuum until the distortion of the national identity and endangering the sovereignty of Lebanon, its economy, future and international and Arab relations to the most serious dangers." He continued: "As a minister in this government, I have witnessed what can't be described and today I disclose to the Lebanese that the practices of the state let of Hezbollah and its allies are no longer acceptable and continuing in this government becomes as if an approval of this deviation, or at least a failure to confront it. In both cases, it is unacceptable to me," --SPA 16:11 LOCAL TIME 13:11 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
