GCC foreign ministers hold joint meeting with Yemeni FM

Riyadh, Jumada I 29, 1437, March 09, 2016, SPA -- The Ministerial Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council at the foreign ministers level held a meeting at the GCC headquarters in Riyadh today with Yemen's Deputy Premier and foreign minister Abdulmalik Al-Mikhlafi. Addressing the meeting, Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir said the ministerial meeting of today gains special attention amid the current efforts of the Arab Coalition Forces to restore legitimacy in Yemen and proceed with the current political process based on the outcome of the national dialogue, GCC initiative, and the UN security council resolution No. 2216, noting that the GCC, emanating from its awareness that the security of Yemen is an integral part of its countries' security and stability, confirms its determination to continue the efforts of relief operations and delivery of humanitarian assistance to the needy Yemeni people in all parts of Yemen and exert whatever to enhance development and stability in Yemen.
