GIBSON, La., Dhu-AlHijjah 25, 1436, Oct 9, 2015, SPA -- Three people were killed and two others were seriously wounded early Friday when a natural gas plant in southern Louisiana exploded, UPI cited authorities as saying. The blast occurred at the Transcontinental Gas Pipeline Co.'s natural gas facility in Gibson -- located about 60 miles southwest of New Orleans -- Thursday morning, WDSU-TV reported. Thirteen employees were at the plant at the time of the blast, but none were hurt. Three contractors working at the site, though, were killed and two others were seriously hurt.
