Cairo, 06 Shaaban 1436 H, May 24, 2015, SPA--The Chiefs of staff of Arab armed forces in the member states of the Arab League resumed their second meeting here today under the chairmanship of the Chief of Staff of Egyptian Armed Forces Lieutenant General Mahmoud Hijazi, to complete the discussion of the formation of the joint Arab military force. The delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the meeting was headed by the Chief of General Staff Abdul Rahman Bin Saleh AlBunyan. The meeting continues discussing perceptions and proposals on activating the executive procedures and working mechanisms for proposed formed force, and issuing a final statement on the outcome of the meeting, including a summary of the discussions in the light of the observations and perspectives of the States on the preliminary draft optional protocol on the establishment of a joint Arab force. --SPA 13:48 LOCAL TIME 10:48 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
