Istanbul, Rajab 27, 1436, May 16, 2015, SPA -- Turkey's military deployed F-16 fighter jets to shoot down a Syrian government aircraft which had twice violated Turkish airspace near the border, a Turkish military official is quoted by the daily Hurriyet as saying.
