Riyadh, Jumada II 17, 1436, April 06, 2015, SPA -- The Security Spokesman of Ministry of Interior stated that on Sunday afternoon, 16/06/1436 AH, security forces searched a number of dens on which evidence was available to be used by terrorist elements in the town of Al-Awwamiyyah, and seized a quantity of automatic weapons, pistols, ammunition and communication devices; and while security men were moving between the targeted sites, they were exposed to heavy fire from a nearby building that necessitated to deal with the situation according to the regulations and to respond to the source of fire similarly, and the arrest of 4 Saudis involved in targeting security forces by firing on them while they were performing their duties. The exchange of fire resulted in the injury of Corporal Majed bin Turki Al-Qahtani, and his martyrdom after admission to hospital, in addition to various injuries of three 3 security men, a citizen, and a resident whose states of health are stable; and the incident is still under the security follow-up. --SPA 10:56 LOCAL TIME 07:56 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
