Manila, Sha'ban 27, 1436, June 14, 2015, SPA -- Three suspected communist rebels were killed Sunday in a clash with government troops in the southern Philippines, an army battalion commander said, according to dpa. Guerrillas attacked soldiers in Davao City, about 950 kilometres south of Manila, according to Lieutenant Colonel Rodney Intal. Intal said the troops recovered one M14 rifle, two unexploded bombs and several backpacks left behind by the fleeing rebels.
