Jeddah, 10 Safar,1437 AH, 22 November,2015 , SPA -- The Islamic Conference of Health Ministers titled "build bridges for a healthier nation," concluded recently in Istanbul, Republic of Turkey, has stressed the importance of cooperation between the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in addressing issues related to investment in the field of health and its positive results with regard to security and stability at the national and international levels. The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Iyad bin Amin Madani confirmed the need to strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the ministers of health in the countries of the Islamic world to overcome the challenges, pointing out that improving health would contribute greatly in the efforts of Member States to alleviating poverty, highlighting the joint efforts of the Organization and the Islamic Development Bank in this field. -- SPA 14:08 LOCAL TIME 11:08 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
