Seoul, 19 Muharram,1437, 01 November,2015, SPA -- Leaders of South Korea, Japan and China were to meet in Seoul on Sunday for their first three-way discussions in more than three years, dpa reported. Chinese Premier Li Keqiang arrived Saturday to meet with South Korea's President Park Geun Hye, and the two "exchanged frank opinions on the situation on the Korean Peninsula," South Korea's Yonhap News Agency reported, citing the president's office. Park requested that China "play a constructive role" and try to use its influence to get North Korea to drop its nuclear weapons development programme, it said. Sunday's trilateral summit with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will be the first such meeting in over three years, reports said. -- SPA 15:54 LOCAL TIME 12:54 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
