United Nations, Ramadan 17, 1435, Jul 14, 2014, SPA -- Concerned by the sharp increase in violence endangering civilians in Tripoli, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Monday called for a halt to the fighting and a return to Libya’s political objectives. Rival militias vying for control of the main airport engaged in heavy fighting Sunday in what media reports described as the worst violence in the capital in six months.
