Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' assistance to Lebanon lauded anew

Beirut, Shawwal 12, 1435, Aug 8, 2014, SPA -- Lebanon today lauded anew the assistance offered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to support the Lebanese army in its fight against terrorism in the region and to bolster the country's security, peace and stability. During chairing a meeting of the country's security high authorities held in Beirut today, Tamam Salam, the Prime Minister, who chaired the meeting in the attendance of former Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri, said the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has yet proved his keenness on the stability of Lebanon through extending support for one of the most important security institutions of the country. Salam also welcomed the return of Saad Al-Hariri after a three years absence from the scene, hoping that he would contribute to creating positive environment that lead to rapprochement of leading Lebanese figures to immune the country politically and in terms of security amid the current deteriorating situations in the region. For his part, Al-Hariri said he was trusted to spend the assistance worth $1 billion as prescribed in form of corporeal assistance to the army and other security forces of Lebanon with the follow-up of the President and the Prime Minister according to legal bases.
