Beirut, Shawwal 10, 1435, Aug 6, 2014, SPA -- Lebanese Justice Minister Ashraf Rifi praised the one billion dollar assistance ordered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, for the Lebanese army and National Security to support and strengthen their capacities to maintain the security and stability of Lebanon. In a statement issued by his office today, Rifi said "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the King, Government and people confirm once again their friendship for Lebanon and its keenness on its sovereignty and integrity . This exceptional aid to the Lebanese army worth one billion U.S. dollars has nothing but to confirm only the protection of the stability of Lebanon and standby in the face of sabotage attempts to which Lebanon is exposed in this difficult phase."
