Ramallah, Ramadan 19, 1435, Jul 16, 2014, SPA -- Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah warned of a humanitarian catastrophe if the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip continued, as WAFA reported. During a meeting with the Chief of Mission of the Red Cross in the West Bank and Jerusalem Frederic Boyer, on Wednesday, Hamdallah requested Boyer to list all the medical needs for hospitals and health facilities in the Gaza Strip to provide them with the necessary funding by a number of Arab countries, who will work on helping to secure funding. Hamdallah praised the efforts of the Red Cross in providing support and treatment for the injured in the Gaza strip. He pointed out that the Israeli aggression led to the killing of 213 Palestinians so far, and wounded more than 1525, in addition to hundreds of homes which were destroyed due to the ongoing Israeli air strikes. On his side, Boyer assured that the Red Cross is ready to provide all means of support and treatment for the injured in the Gaza strip, and to provide safe refuge for citizens who have lost their places of residence. --SPA 19:58 LOCAL TIME 16:58 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
