New Delhi, Ramadan 17, 1435, July 14, 2014, SPA -- At least seven children were killed when a wall collapsed in central India early Monday amid heavy monsoon rains, police said, according to dpa. The wall of a Sikh temple abutting slums inhabited by workers fell down in Madhya Pradesh state's Burhanpur district, 350 kilometres south of regional capital Bhopal. "The incident occurred late at night when the workers and their families were fast asleep. The victims, were all children, aged between 6 months to 16 years," district police chief Anil Singh Kushwaha said by phone. Nine people rescued from the debris were hospitalized.
