Vientiane, Sha'ban 29, 1435, Jun 27, 2014, SPA -- Laos authorities defused a 500-pound MK82 bomb from the Vietnam War found on the outskirts of the capital this week, dpa reported Friday. The ordnance was discovered by workers preparing a construction site on Monday, before being defused and removed from Nayai Chaleun village, the Ministry of National Defense was quoted as saying.
