United Nations, Ramadan 17, 1435, Jul 14, 2014, SPA -- Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on Monday appointed former Irish President Mary Robinson as his special envoy for climate change. The post requires Robinson to work with fellow special envoys John Kufuor and Michael Bloomberg to mobilize political action for the climate summit that Ban will convene in September.
