RIYADH: Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Climate Change Envoy Adel Al-Jubeir received UN Convention to Combat Desertification Under-Secretary-General and Executive Secretary Ibrahim Thiaw in Riyadh on Wednesday. The two officials discussed ties and cooperation between the Kingdom and UN, focusing on climate change and combating desertification. They also reviewed the Kingdom’s efforts in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as the latest international developments in the field of environmental protection.
