Oslo, Ramadan 5, 1435, Jul 3, 2014, SPA -- Norwegian police were Thursday investigating the death of a man who fell from an ambulance helicopter into the North Sea off western Norway, dpa reported. The incident occurred Wednesday morning when a helicopter was dispatched to an oil rig about 80 kilometres north-west of the city of Bergen to transport the Swedish national to the mainland for medical treatment, the Bergens Tidende newspaper reported. A few kilometres from the mainland, the 37-year-old apparently opened an emergency exit door and fell 600 metres to the sea surface. Initial reports said the crew had no time to react.
