The Minister of Foreign Affairs highlighted what has been embodied by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the concept of solidarity and collaboration among Arab brothers through his calling for holding a conference of brothers and friends of Egypt for donors to help this brotherly country overcome the large-scale economic challenges it faces, especially after that the people of Egypt chose their President to lead the country towards a prosperous and stable future. Prince Saud Al-Faisal pointed out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's pro-Egypt position emanates from its deep sense that the stability of the Arab Republic of Egypt is a pillar of stability of the Arab and Islamic worlds, hoping that this conference would conclude a strong position that encourages brothers and friends of Egypt to respond to this call and to actively participate in any effort to make Egypt retain its Arab and regional role in the region. He further said, "I am in no need to talk about the details of the political issues that you know well and have become fixed items on our agenda, such as the Palestinian cause, Al-Quds issue, challenges of terrorism and extremism, dangers of nuclear proliferation and cons of foreign intervention as well as the conditions of Muslim minorities, which are still facing pressure and persecution of every kind and waves of violence that are approaching the levels of ethnic cleansing and sectarian separation in different countries, and it is enough here to review with you some of the developments of these issues as a matter of recalling within our dealing with these issues. --More 14:48 LOCAL TIME 11:48 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
