Riyadh, Sha'ban 13, 1435, Jun 11, 2014, SPA -- The Kingdom called on labor-supplying countries to upgrade the skills of their workers, facilitate their movement and limit middlemen manipulation, in addition to raise their awareness of applicable regulations and laws. Saudi Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor for International Affairs Dr. Ahmed Al-Fihaid said, as he was addressing the 103rd session of the World Labor Organization (ILO), that the Kingdom has abided by the values and principles of the ILO. The Kingdom has embarked on a wide-scale process to correct the status of workers, last year, achieving about 10,000,000 operations to transfer sponsorships, issue working permits and change profession titles, he added, pointing to the inception of new agencies for in-field inspection and to improve working environments such as issuance of new domestic labor regulation, working people bodies and launching of a website to receive complaints, in the main languages of foreign employees in the Kingdom.
