Portuguese Deputy Premier Receives Visiting Saudi Majlis Al-Shura's Delegation 2 Lisbon

Dr. Portash also commended the parliamentary cooperation relationships between Majlis Al-Shura and the Portuguese Parliament, highlighting his meeting with Majlis Al-Shura's Vice Speaker, Dr. Mohammed bin Amin Al-Jafri, during his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia recently. He also praised the efforts of Saudi-Portuguese parliamentary friendship committees in both the Saudi Council and the Portuguese Parliament in the convergence of views, and to explore wider horizons of cooperation between the two countries in various fields. For his part, the Head of Saudi Majlis Al-Shura's delegation Assaf Abu Thnin expressed, in his own name and on behalf of the members of the delegation their thanks and appreciation to the Portuguese Deputy Premier for the hospitality and warm reception accorded to them. He also conveyed to Dr. Portash the greetings of the Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh and his deputy, Dr. Mohammed bin Amin Al-Jafri. During the meeting, the two sides focused on bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Portugal and ways of enhancing them in various fields, especially, health, cultural, educational and economic ones in order to serve the common interests of the two friendly countries and their peoples. The Saudi delegation confirmed support and keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Crown Prince on the development of prospects of bilateral cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries in various fields to serve the interests of the Kingdom and Arab and Islamic nations .
