MIAMI, Ramadan 3, 1435, Jun 30, 2014, SPA -- Tropical Storm Elida has formed off the southwestern coast of Mexico and is expected to produce high surf and heavy rains. According to AP, Elida was centered Monday afternoon about 120 miles (195 kms) off the coast of Manzanillo, Mexico, and had maximum sustained winds of 50 mph (85 kph). It was moving northwest at 12 mph (19 kph).
