Washington, Sha'ban 5, 1435, Jun 3, 2014, SPA -- A tropical depression is approaching southern Mexico's Pacific coast, where it is forecast to deliver heavy rain. The depression's maximum sustained winds early Tuesday are near 55 kilometers per hour (kph). The U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) in Miami said the depression could strengthen into a tropical storm later in the day, with winds in excess of 63 kph. The depression was centered about 200 kilometers south-southeast of Salina Cruz and has become nearly stationary in the last few hours. However, it is expected to resume a slow northward motion later on Tuesday. --SPA 17:04 LOCAL TIME 14:04 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
