Donetsk, Ukraine, Rajab 22, 1435, May 21, 2014, SPA -- Ukraine's richest man promised to carry on his campaign against separatists on Wednesday after pro-Russian insurgents in the eastern city of Donetsk announced they would nationalize his assets, dpa reported. Metals and mining magnate Rinat Akhmetov said in a statement that more people will come out against the separatists, whom he accused of acting like savages. "They are impostors who have taken the entire [region of] Donbass hostage and are terrorizing it," Akhmetov said in a video published by System Capital Management, the Donetsk-based holding company he controls. Akhmetov blamed the separatists for the low turnout at protests by his workers in the region on Tuesday. "I know that many more wanted to join, but were intimidated by pistols and machine guns," he said. -- SPA 00:12 LOCAL TIME 21:12 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
