Dubai, Rajab 26, 1435, May 25, 2014, SPA -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will play host to the First Arab Maritime Forum and Exhibition in Dubai from 27-29 May 2014. Minister of Public Works and Chairman of National Transport Authority Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi will give the keynote address at the meeting, which seeks to explore mechanisms of increasing inter-Arab maritime trade and developing Arab shipping industry, WAM reported. The First Arab Maritime Forum will be held and organized in cooperation and coordination between the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States (economic sector) and the Arab Economic Lighthouse.
