Riyadh, May 04, 2021, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh and Al-Bilad newspapers reported in their editorials that the pace of reforms and restructuring that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is witnessing continues in order to accelerate achievements and promote coordination among all government agencies to realize the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030 after the efforts of the first five years have been culminated by success. Moreover, all these reforms aim to raise the level of general performance, improve services and develop them in accordance with the latest global developments. The Saudi citizen also is the main focus of these transformations and reforms. The newspapers further said that the government of the Kingdom Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, proceeds with the process of government restructuring, choosing and appointing highly qualified personnel, in order to reach further development, based on the government’s belief that mankind is the true wealth of the country. The newspapers concluded that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s reforms process continues to move forward at all economic, social and political levels, to accomplish more achievements. Additionally, the Saudi achievements were praised by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) experts. The IMF staff statement underscored the positive results of the Saudi economic reforms, projected continuation in the economic recovery, and expected decline in the unemployment rate and inflation. In another context, Al-Yaum newspaper reported in its editorial that all people around the world are aspiring for normal life, before the coronavirus pandemic. In this regard, the newspaper pointed to the Saudi Ministry of Interior’s announcement regarding the travel suspension for citizens. The Ministry stated that it has been decided that the lifting of the suspension of citizens' travel outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will go into effect as of 1:00 am on Monday, May 17, 2021, for certain categories. This statement carries good news that we have reached an enabling stage to take this decision.
