Riyadh, Safar 18, 1439, Nov 7, 2017, SPA -- The Date Specifications' Codex Committee has endorsed Kingdom as the Co-Chairman of the Electronic Group for preparation and amendment of the specifications of fresh dates, during meetings of the 20th Session of Codex Committee, held in Kampala, Uganda. Undersecretary of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture for Agriculture affairs Ahmed Al-Eiada said that representatives of the ministry with participation of Food and Drug Authority started their work to end the standards of Saudi dates.
