Royal Court: Tomorrow is Last Day of Ramadan and Thursday is First Day of Eid Al-Fitr

Riyadh, May 11, 2021, SPA -- The Royal Court, based on the report of the Supreme Court, said that tomorrow will be the last day of the holy month of Ramadan and Thursday is the first day of Eid Al-Fitr. The statement added that "The Supreme court said that following reports received from courts based on eye monitors who are devoted to verifying whether the holy of month of Ramadan has completed or to be proceeded for one more day. The new moon of Shawal, which follows Ramadan, was not seen. Therefore, it has been decided that tomorrow, Wednesday 30/9/1442AH, according to Umm Al-Qura calendar, corresponding to 12/5/2021AD, is the last day of the holy month of Ramadan for this year 1442AH and that Thursday 1/10/1442AH, according to Umm Al-Qura calendar, corresponding to 13/5/2021AD, is the first day of Eid Al-Fitr for this year 1442AH".
