Riyadh, June 29, 2020, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues, at local, regional, and international arenas. Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that the approach and principles of Saudi Arabia's foreign policy is clear and firm, most notably good neighborliness, non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries, and strengthening relations with its nation to serve common interests and affirms the Arab's unity and Islamic solidarity. The paper said that Saudi Arabia supports the international organization and extends a helping hand and assistance to the needy countries without discrimination. The paper pointed out that, since signing the United Nations Charter, Saudi Arabia has adhered to the principles of international law, that includes the use of peaceful means to resolve international conflicts and consolidate human rights principles and laws. The paper concluded that Saudi Arabia has given an example during countering Coronavirus pandemic through its initiatives at the G20 that supports the countries and organizations in confronting the virus and makes effective coordination and full cooperation with the international group to reduce the pandemic effects on all of humanity. Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper said in its editorial that Saudi Arabia invested huge sums of money during the past period to support the capabilities of the renewable energy sector, and to achieve continuous growth in this field with all kinds of solar, wind and nuclear energy. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia enjoys distinguished geographical location with solar and wind components due to its location in the global solar belt system, the paper added. The paper pointed out that Saudi Arabia's attention to renewable energy projects aims to maximize its share in renewable energy production.
