Sydney, Muharram 26, 1437, November 08, 2015, SPA -- Delays are expected at Australian airports Monday as some 5,000 Immigration and Border Force workers take part in a 24-hour strike over pay and conditions, a news report said, according to dpa. Authorities warned travellers to arrive up to three hours early for international travel and proceed directly to passport clearance. Passengers arriving at international airports may experience delays before they can clear passport and customs controls that will be run by management staff, Border Force Assistant Commissioner Clive Murray said. Nadine Flood of the Community and Public Sector Union told broadcaster ABC Sunday that staff had had their pay cut and working rights reduced. --SPA 11:40 LOCAL TIME 08:40 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
