Al-Ula, July 12, 2021, SPA -- Saudi Arabian Ballooning Federation (SAHAB) dispatched three trainees to the Netherlands to receive the European license for professional balloon pilot (EASA) to fly balloons within the practical course for SAHAB program to train balloon pilot, so as to develop the skills of people practicing the balloon sport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. SAHAB Chairman Engineer Amr Al-Madani pointed out that the program aims at developing the skills of people willing to practice the balloon sport among the Saudi youth and develop their technical abilities in flying balloons. For his part, SAHAB CEO Mohammed Al-Hammoudi said that the training program for balloon pilots focuses on the practical aspect through intensified exercises on flying the balloon to develop the skills of trainees.
