Riyadh, May 01, 2020, SPA -- The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology announced the safety of using electromagnetic waves on the human body and the health and environmental effects of modern radio communication waves, including fifth-generation networks, confirming that the summary of the results of medical studies and research collected until the time of preparing the report indicates that there is no correlation or scientific evidence to prove health effects or general risks to human health and the environment by radio-electromagnetic waves, and that more studies are being conducted around the world by relevant organizations.  The ministry pointed out that the electromagnetic radiation emitted by radio waves used in wireless communications for the fifth generation technology will not exceed the levels of electromagnetic radiation of the current fourth generation technology.  The fifth generation networks aim to provide high speed and low latency factor to support the increasing demand for communication services. --SPA 01:29 LOCAL TIME 22:29 GMT 0026 www.spa.gov.sa/w1318996
