Jeddah, April 21, 2021, SPA -- General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is deeply concerned about the latest developments in Chad, where OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen has expressed deepest condolences to the people of Chad over the death of President Idriss Deby Itno. The Secretary General highlighted the importance of preserving the security, safety and stability of Chad, in addition to the unity of its territories, calling on all effective politicians in Chad to resort to appeasement, peaceful ways and dialogue to overcome hardships facing their country.
