T20 Summit Discusses Environment, Climate, Economic, Financial Development Issues in 1st Day

Riyadh, Oct 31, 2020, SPA -- Riyadh today witnessed the activities of the first day of Think20 (T20) Summit Saudi Arabia 2020 which will last over two days organized by King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) and King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, in the presence of Prince Turki Al-Faisal, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of KFCRIS and Dr. Fahd Al-Turki, the Chair of T20 and KAPSARC Vice President for Research with the participation of Columbia University; the Islamic Fund for Development; Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD); the United Nations and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western (ESCWA), in addition to the World Resources Institute (WRI); London School of Economics (LSE) and Access Global Health. On its first day, the T20 Summit discussed a number of topics, including the environment, climate, women, youth, pluralism and economic and financial development, in addition to other topics such as sustainable resources, technology and digitization, as the activities included dialogue sessions during which the speakers discussed the recommendations of the policy briefs that sought to address the most important global issues. --SPA 23:11 LOCAL TIME 20:11 GMT 0021 www.spa.gov.sa/w1439379
