Sakaka, April 16, 2020, SPA -- Al-Jouf Municipality has collected more than 172083 m3 of debris and wastes of construction and projects of unknown sources, eliminating slums and elements of landscape distortion, and promoting awareness and cultural conduct. This came as a part of the campaign of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs to address landscape distortion. Mayor of Al-Jouf region, Engineer Atef bin Mohammed Al-Shara'an, stated that the Municipality has recently completed a program to address landscape distortion and remove debris and sand during the curfew period. He called on the owners of projects and buildings under construction or restoration to contract with one of the qualified contractors with the Municipality to provide containers for the collection and transport of construction waste and debris and obliged them to clean the area surrounding the building, stressing that the Municipality spared no effort in following-up and monitoring violators of municipal requirements in this regard. --SPA 15:06 LOCAL TIME 12:06 GMT 0018 www.spa.gov.sa/w1308201
