Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Prime Minister of Iraq Attend Signing Ceremony of Agreements and MoUs on Cooperation between Two Countries

Riyadh, April 17, 2019, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq Adil Abdul-Mahdi attended at Al-Yamamah palace here today a signing ceremony of agreements and memoranda of understanding and cooperation between the two governments of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Iraq. A memorandum of understanding in the field of political consultations was co-signed by Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf and Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Ali Al-Hakim. A program of mutual recognition of product conformity certificates was co-signed by Saudi Minister of Trade and Investment Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi and Iraqi Minister of Planning Dr. Nouri Sabah Al-Dulaimi. An investment promotion and protection agreement was co-signed by Saudi Minister of Trade and Investment Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi and Head of the Iraqi National Investment Authority Sami Raouf Al-Araji. A memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of agriculture was co-signed by Saudi Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdurrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli and Iraqi Minister of Agriculture Dr. Salih bin Hussein Al-Husni. A memorandum of understanding in the field of industry and mineral wealth was co-signed by Saudi Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih and Iraqi Minister of Industry and Minerals Dr. Salih Abdullah Al-Jaburi. A memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of oil and gas was co-signed by Saudi Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources Eng.
