Geneva, Rabi'II 30, 1439, January 17, 2018, SPA -- UN Special Envoy to Syria Staffan de Mistura sent separate invitations to the Syrian opposition and Assad regime, to attend the 9th round of Geneva talks, held under the auspices of the United Nations, on 25-26 January, however, due to logistics' reasons, the meetings will take place, at the UN office, in Vienna, Austria. In a statement announced here today, Di Mistura expressed anticipation that concerned delegations will take place, in the meetings and that they will be ready to engage, in the talks, with special concentration on the constitutional basket, with an agenda for the full implementation of the UN Security Council no.: 2254 of 2015, taking into consideration standards and notes he submitted to the Security Council, on Dec. 19, 2017.
