For his part, the US Secretary of State stressed that this is his third visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which reflects a nature of relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States, stressing that he is pleased on establishment of the Saudi-Iraqi Coordination Council. He stressed that Saudi-Iraqi coordination is very important for Iraq's stability and future. Tillerson added that development of relations between Saudi Arabia and Iraq will benefit the Kingdom within the context of the Kingdom Vision 2030. He confirmed that development of US-Saudi relations is very important. He pointed out that his concentrated talks with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince touched US President Donald Trump's new policy towards Iran, adding that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud expressed his strong support for that policy because of Iran's behavior in the region and its efforts to destabilize the region. He hoped that the European companies would join this policy which would prevent Iran and the Revolutionary Guard from destabilizing the region. He highlighted that the situations in Yemen and Syria were discussed, adding that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques pointed out to a number of other crises in the region.
