Al-Jubeir added that they discussed the Qatari crisis in addition to terrorism and extremism in Syria, Iraq and the Middle East, stressing the Saudi-US identical views towards most issues without going into details with regard to the two countries' stances because they are very clear. He pointed out that they discussed the situation in North Korea, confirming that the Kingdom's stance is completely identical with the G-20 stance which calls to an area with no nuclear weapons on the Korean peninsula. "We have expressed our stance that any action or provocative moves taken by North Korea could not be used in reaching a solution of this crisis," he said. Al-Jubeir hailed the historic and strategic relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States in addition to the two countries' keenness through eight decades ago in enhancing and intensifying these relations in all fields.
