Riyadh, Safar 8, 1437, Nov 20, 2015, SPA -- The General Directorate of the Border Guards confirmed that citizens as well as residents shall abide by the regulations and instructions prohibiting approaching land border zones specified at a depth of 20 km from the borderline, in the light of border security laws, in the Eastern Region, namely Hafr Al-Batin and Al-Khafji sectors, along all sectors of the Northern Border Region, Al-Jouf Region zones of Issawiyah and Hidaitha and the sectors of Halat Ammar and Haql, in Tabuk Region. Border Guards' Official Spokesman Naval Col. Saher bin Mohammed Al-Harbi pointed out that the directorate began demarking the zone by erecting sand barriers and guiding marks to prohibit approaching the declared specified zone, as any human or vehicle that may try to enter the zone, will be hold accountable by law, regardless of the form or purpose of entering the zone. -- SPA 01:22 LOCAL TIME 22:22 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
