Riyadh, June 23, 2021, SPA -- Ministry of Investment and an Omani delegation, headed by Aseela Al-Samsamiya, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, who is currently visiting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reviewed investment opportunities and went over top programs and initiatives to facilitate investment between the two countries. On the sidelines of the visit, a workshop was held on Sunday at the ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh to discuss means to enhance investment opportunities between the two countries with the participation of the business sector. The workshop reviewed investment opportunities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s efforts in developing the national economy under the Saudi Vision 2030 through diversifying the economy and investment in renewable energy, special industrial and economic cities, and major economic and development schemes. A presentation was also delivered on “Invest Saudi”, which is one of the initiatives to realize Vision 2030, and a presentation on the program of entrepreneurship of national companies. The Omani delegation went over programs and initiatives related to facilitating investments and services offered to investors in the Sultanate of Oman.
