United Nations, February 3, 2020, SPA -- The United Nations' Special Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths, the United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen Lise Grande and representative of the World Health Organization in Yemen Altaf Musani welcomed a first transport flight involving six patients heading to Jordan for treatment. In a joint statement, the UN officials expressed their pleasure for launching this medical air bridge, hailing the great efforts exerted by the host countries, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Jordan, and the Arab Republic of Egypt.
