Crowds of worshipers performed Isha and Taraweeh prayers Monday at the Grand Mosque to glorify the night of the twenty-seventh of the blessed month of Ramadan, in observation of this holy night during the last ten days of Ramadan. The worshipers prayed in a spiritually uplifting atmosphere supported by an integrated system of services that had been in operation since early morning to ensure their safety, security, and comfort. The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques mobilized human and mechanical resources to serve the visitors of the Grand Mosque. This included deploying 4,000 workers throughout the Grand Mosque and its courtyards, washing the Grand Mosque ten times throughout the day, using over 80,000 liters of disinfectants, 1,600 fresheners for scenting, and sterilizing the Grand Mosque"s sides and courtyards around the clock with around 15,000 liters of sterilizers by more than 70 field teams. To cater to the elderly and people with special needs, the Presidency provided more than 5,000 regular vehicles for transportation, 3,000 electric vehicles, 200 electric stairs, and 14 escalators. In Madinah, Isha and Taraweeh prayers were performed at the Prophet’s Mosque on the night of the 27th of Ramadan, in a spiritual atmosphere dominated by security, safety, tranquility, and stability. Worshipers of different age groups from inside and outside the Kingdom came to the Prophet’s Mosque amid a system of integrated services. The Presidency, in coordination with various departments and relevant authorities, took steps to fully prepare the Prophet’s Mosque and make necessary arrangements to ensure the safety and comfort of visitors. The Presidency agency is dedicated to developing its services and providing the best possible experience to visitors. The Presidency also harnessed its human cadres and technical means in preparation for the 27th night to provide the finest services with optimum efficiency to the male and female visitors of the Grand Mosque. This comes in light of the increasing numbers of millions visiting the Grand Mosque, with the female cadres preparing the mosque amid an integrated system of services. On Monday, the women"s agencies at the Grand Mosque prepared the prayer areas, allocated paths, organized departments and units, and intensified their efforts to ensure that female visitors can perform their worship and rituals with ease and tranquility in a safe and spiritual environment. The Assistant Agency for Women"s Service and Field Affairs has trained female employees to receive female visitors and supervised preparations for all sites. — SPA
