RIYADH: Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Kattan, adviser at the Royal Court, met with Secretary-General of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa, Chileshe Mpundu Kapwepwe, on Thursday. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting of the Executive Council of Foreign Ministers of the African Union countries in Nairobi. Kapwepwe affirmed COMESA’s full support for the Saudi Arabia’s bid to host Expo 2030 in Riyadh and expressed her appreciation for the Kingdom’s support for the organization. The two officials discussed cooperation between the Kingdom and COMESA, and opportunities to enhance economic and investment cooperation to serve common interests.
