RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan left for South Africa Tuesday to attend the 15th BRICS Summit, state news agency (SPA) reported. The minister will head the Saudi delegation on behalf of the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. On the sidelines of the summit, which takes place from Aug. 22-24 in Johannesburg, Prince Faisal will meet several delegates and dignitaries from different countries, according to SPA. The 15th BRICS Summit, which involves member nations Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, is set to begin in Johannesburg Tuesday. The summit is expected to welcome more than 40 heads of state and international dignitaries.
